How would you describe your style?

I would describe my style as classic with a love for pattern and colour. I love bright and colourful fabrics, block print, pretty florals, brass finishes and mostly traditional furniture.

What advice do you give to couples on building a wedding list?

Think of it as an opportunity to put together a list of all things you have ever wanted for your home, but wouldn’t necessarily buy for yourself. Choose presents which will last a lifetime, but don’t be afraid to put on items which will bring some colour, fun and enjoyment to your new life as a married couple.

What do you think is the most overlooked wedding present?

A good quality kettle and toaster! It sounds boring, but they are used often and the better the quality, the longer they will last.

What is your favourite room of the house and why?

The bedroom. You can fill it with so many memorable keepsakes and photo frames, making it really personal. I love using pretty bed linen and colourful fabrics and cushions in my bedroom, which makes me look forward to waking up every day!

What are good traditional presents to add to a list which might appeal to an older generation?

I think the older generation would rather buy you something traditional, which will last forever. Good choices are Le Creuset cookware, China, or a good quality set of glassware.

What presents do guests love to buy?

Guests love to stand out with their choices, and they prefer to choose something that you will remember them by. I made sure I added lots of decorative serve-wear, from jugs, platters and bowls to more stand out pieces like a beautiful table lamp, and colourful vases.
